Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Handling requests for changes (RFC)s, evaluation, preparation, and recommendations of change notices and change orders;
- Provide technical and contractual evaluation to determine merit.
- Preparation of contract documents for pre-award solicitations and post-award administration.
- Change management and process.
- Monitoring contract compliance.
- Preparation of modifications/change orders.
- Preparation of cost analysis and pre-negotiation plans, evaluation, and resolution of claims.
- Participating in documenting final inspection, final acceptance, and preparation of close-out documents.
- Preparation of reports and other correspondence.
- Interfacing with contractors and agency personnel.
- Perform other related work and duties.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of eight (8) years of journey-level experience performing contract administration work, in particular, change management on major projects.
- Bachelor’s degree – Business, Public Administration, or other related fields.
- Valid California Class C Driver License.
- Experience on rail transit projects preferred.
