Responsibilities
Job Summary:
The Sales Operations team at Cree LED supports our global Sales organization. We do this by providing the sales team with tools and systems that help them eliminate redundant or non-value-added tasks from their daily job and that give them the information they need to organize and make decisions, with the goal of giving them a competitive advantage in the marketplace. Our team also works directly with Cree LED executive management to provide decision support and ad hoc sales reporting and analytics.
Cree LED is currently seeking a Channel Data & Reporting Analyst to join the Sales Operations team. This position will play a critical role as the primary owner of our Channel Data Management function and related master data management. In this role, you will be the shepherd of some of Cree LED’s most business-critical data and help to expose this data and related insights to our key business stakeholders. The ideal candidate for this role will have a natural and highly-tuned knack for attention to detail and organization. At the same time, you need to be able to step back to see the bigger picture, as well as build an understanding of how our Sales organization works and what its needs are. We are looking for candidates who possess expert problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, demonstrate creative thinking, can work independently and are intrinsically motivated.
This position serves the global Cree LED Sales organization and reports directly to the Manager of Data, Reporting and Analytics. Travel is not required. Cree LED is unable to sponsor a visa for this position now or in the future.
Key Responsibilities:
- Channel Data Management (CDM)
- Responsible for the collection, validation and enrichment of distributor’s sales and inventory data used for downstream internal consumption and reporting
- Work directly with our third-party CDM partner as well as our global distribution network to resolve specific data issues, improve data quality and reduce data anomalies in POS and Inventory reports
- Execution of distributor onboarding
- Data Quality & Internal Reporting
- Ensure quality of data and accuracy of downstream reporting through precise attention to detail and execution of quality assurance processes
- Monitor and maintain Tableau dashboards used to identify anomalies in data
- Provide ad-hoc reporting and data as well as analytical support for management
- Utilize Tableau and other resources to investigate data discrepancies between reports and sources
- Sales Support
- Provide unmatched customer service to Sales Teams by providing clear communication and timely responses to sales support inquiries
- Support Channel Team by focusing on Channel-specific Tableau report needs and new analyses, including a focus on POS trends, Inventory, and Turns analyses
- Master Data Management
- Execute daily responsibilities related to maintaining our customer master data management tool
- Monitor and maintain customer attributes in our SAP system
- Monitor and maintain distributor attributes used for reporting

- Liaise effectively with internal IT resources to successfully execute technical enhancements to current solutions and net new project work

Important Skills
Requirements:
- 3+ years experience in data management and reporting (must be able to provide specific examples of this)
- Completion of a 4-yr college degree; or equivalent education and experience
- Excellent MS Excel spreadsheet experience (Excel skills test will be administered as part of the interview process)
- Ability to analyze data to identify trends and make recommendations
- Reliability and strong work ethic
- Intrinsic drive and flexibility; able to quickly adapt to changing priorities
- Ability to manage many tasks at the same time

Compensation/Benefits
The pay range that the Company reasonably expects to pay for this position in North Carolina is $58,800 – $80,000; the pay ultimately offered within the expected range may vary based on business considerations, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and education. The position is bonus eligible and there is a range of medical, dental, and vision benefits available, as well as a 401k saving plan and other benefits and plans, such as Paid Time Off, Life Insurance, and an Employee Assistance Plan.
