Tradewind Aviation is looking for a full-time Charter Sales Coordinator to be based in Oxford, CT.
The Charter Sales Coordinator at Tradewind Aviation plays a crucial role in driving and expanding charter sales revenue. As a direct contributor, they are dedicated to understanding clients’ needs and effectively presenting Tradewind’s tailored products. With expertise in listening and assessing client requirements, the Charter Sales Coordinator excels in providing accurate trip quotes via phone, email, and online platforms.
Maintaining an extensive knowledge of Tradewind’s offerings is a key responsibility for this position. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional negotiation and prospecting skills, coupled with a strong passion for sales and client service. From the initial opportunity to qualification, availability, quoting, payment, and confirmation, the Charter Sales Coordinator skillfully handles the entire sales cycle.
Collaboration is essential in this role, as the Charter Sales Coordinator works closely with various departments including scheduling, scheduled service, client services, dispatch, and marketing. By fostering effective cross-departmental relationships, they ensure seamless coordination and deliver exceptional experiences to Tradewind’s clients.

Responsibilities
- Quote client aircraft charter request with accurate pricing and convert into bookings, maximizing profit and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain relationships with retail clients, brokers, agents and special Tradewind accounts.
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive responses to client requests and follow up as required.
- Achieve established sales activity objectives to drive charter revenue.
- Actively search aircraft charter boards to identify potential sales leads.
- Outsource flights when company aircraft are not available.
- Maintain a high level of knowledge of all company scheduled routes and services.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a relevant field preferred.
- Part 135 private charter experience preferred.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office knowledge, computer software & internet proficiency.
Physical Requirements
- Regularly required to, stand, sit, talk, hear and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard.

Salary Description
$45,000 – $80,000 / per year
