We are looking for an experience d Chief Architect , with extensive Business, Technology, and Nonprofit Industry experience to join our team. Successful enterprise architects d emonstrate a holistic understanding of up and downstream effects of technology solutions and nonprofit industry trends to guide the development of future products and patterns.

Qualifications:
Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science , or related technical discipline AND 6 + years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to: C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft cloud technology, such as Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure, Open AI, and/or CoPilot.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 10 + years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
    • OR Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8 + years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
    • OR equivalent experience .
  • 5 + years people management experience .
  • 5 + years technical sales experience.
  • 5+ years system and integration architecture design and implementation experience within the nonprofit industry.

Software Engineering M5 – The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $133,600 – $256,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $173,200 – $282,200 per year.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a small team that d efin e s and drive s the technical strategy and architecture investments for the nonprofit industry .
  • Lead the team through efforts and discussions for architecture of aspects of products/solutions.
  • Leverage a variety of feedback channels to incorporate insights into future designs or solutio ns .
  • Guide incorporation of appropriate continuous feedback loops measuring customer value, usage patterns, and other actionable metrics of value.
  • B uild and maintain both internal partnerships, driving collaboration with key partners in immediate group and across Microsoft ecosystem of engineering leaders , as well as external partnerhips with customer/partner ecosystem technology leaders.
  • O versee team efforts, influence, and hold ownership of efforts and design discussions for overall enterprise architecture of complex nonprofit customer scenarios.
  • Lead identification of other teams and technologies that will be leveraged , how they will interact, and when one’s system may provide support to others.
  • Act as an expert and guide team experimentation to determine the effectiveness of changes and monitors developments for prototyping and testing across products and multiple teams, interprets results, and makes a decision on next steps or ship decision from results.
  • Guide teams through efforts to determine back-end dependencies associated with product, application, service, or platform functionality for the solution/product.
  • Act as a key contact for leadership to ensure collaboration with our partner teams and our combined customer goals.
  • C hampion skill development efforts to ensure engineering team’s skills remain current by investing time and effort into staying abreast of current developments.
  • Define team objectives and outcomes ; Enable success across boundaries ; Help the team adapt and learn .
