Leidos is looking for a senior technical execution lead to support the Fort Independence program. The Chief Engineer works across all of Fort Independence IT Service Areas to design and execute the delivery of leading Zero Trust and ICAM solutions for the IC Community. Tasks include collaborating horizontally with IT Service product owners to ensure successful implementation of requirements, requirements prioritization within tailored Agile methodology constructs, supporting customer meetings as needed, and designing/implementing IT automations with Fort Independence PMO and Operations managers.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Collect, refine, and allocate Enterprise IT requirements to IT service areas
  • Perform requirements prioritization that span horizontally across IT Service Areas and assisting requirements decomposition
  • Collaborate with IT Service Area Product Owners to successfully deliver planned requirements
  • Communicate status to Fort Independence PMO and Operations as needed
  • Support customer-facing meetings for technical briefings and status briefings as needed
  • Develop technical performance measures for system operations
  • Optimize life-cycle cost and ensure methods for metric collection
  • Support Fort Independence PMO to identify staffing needs and support Talent and Acquisition activities as needed
  • Ensure Fort Independence IT Services are compliant with all customer organization technical guardrails and customer’s systems engineering best practices
  • Collaborate with PMO, customer, and Operations to optimize execution costs, such as annual cloud spend
  • Managing costs associated with the services implemented by your team and coordinating those costs with other program leadership and ensuring quality in delivered projects and communicating risks with other teams and leaders

Basic Qualifications

  • Active TS w/Polygraph
  • BS Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field
  • 15+ years experience with software or system development with focus on capability delivery on schedule and within proposed budget
  • Demonstrated experience defining strategies and plans and executing those plans through other managers
  • Demonstrated experience interacting with all levels of project leadership from Junior Individual Contributors to Executive Leaders
  • Demonstrated experience interacting with all organizations of a customer organization: Customer, Stakeholders, Senior Government Leaders, System Users
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams utilizing MBSE in an Enterprise IT environment
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams in an Agile environment using tools such as Jira, Confluence, or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Zero Trust or ICAM ecosystem development and delivery
  • Demonstrated experience building MBSE models using Cameo or similar tools
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams in a software intensive service enterprise
  • Experience using ServiceNow,
  • Experience using JIRA, Confluence Boards

Pay Range: Pay Range $142,350.00 – $257,325.00
