What you’ll do:
- Support the department in vision and strategy development through idea development, facilitation, consultation, coaching and mentoring.
- Lead the department’s organizational culture clarity by increasing alignment between culture and core values and enhancement of the business and customer/community relationships.
- Actively develop department people strategies including:
- Increase in health and well-being;
- Talent management through training and leadership development;
- Strategizing employee appreciation efforts;
- Improving the overall employee experience; and
- Developing of workforce analytics
- Develop and oversee implementation of a comprehensive Organizational Health Plan inclusive of establishing performance measures and target dates.
- Directly supervises and oversees the department’s Operational Excellence and Leadership and Development Training Teams.
- Oversee the Quarterly Pulse Survey data and work with department leadership to identify gaps for improvement.
- Management of several multi-year contracts that aligned with current and future workforce strategies.
- Be familiar with grant management and work across the department on multiple grants including strategies for implementing grant requirement and providing detailed status reports as required by granting agencies.
- Communicate with department leadership regarding workforce and organizational health strategies.
- Remain current on organizational health literature, best practices and trends incorporating this information into updates with leadership and performance of role.
- Coordinate and lead large stakeholders groups on workforce and organizational health strategies.
- Represents Department in cross-agency collaboration(s) regarding workforce and organizational health strategies.
All you need for success:
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in related field (Organizational Health, Public Health, Human Resources, Project Management, etc.)
- Minimum of five years’ experience in organizational, public health and/or healthcare service delivery or human resources.
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma or equivalent is preferred
