The role of the Citi Program Management Council (CPMC) Transformation Management Lead includes, but is not limited to, the following:
Responsibilities:
- Partner with Transformation leads and Program Managers to:
- Drive execution plans to meet deliverables critical to the regulatory transformation or cross-company programs.
- Manage projects to design and implement common PM standards, reporting, and closure process across projects
- Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders, organizations and business heads (i.e. Business & Function Risk/ Control Leads, Program Leads)
- Partner closely with the Risk & Controls Managers to drive credible check and challenge of deliverables
- Support planning, directing and coordination of day-to-day activities of running the transformation program or portfolio of programs. Play a key role in supporting the evolution of transformation program capabilities, collaborate with stakeholders to ensure program scope definition meets business objectives, and identify opportunities and prioritize projects based on business needs.
- Manage communication of status, issue and risk disposition to all stakeholders, escalating any issues associated with the programs, as needed, to the Controls Remediation Officer on a timely basis
- Action deliverables from reviews of each program’s defined scope, target state, and success criteria to ensure it fully addresses the letter and the spirit of the regulatory feedback, broader supervisory expectations and underlying issues and root causes, and is embedded in a broader strategic vision
- Monitor and track execution of transformation programs. Work in collaboration with the Controls Remediation Officer and the Transformation Lead to develop and ensure timely and consistent PMO status reporting
Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ experience in financial services and program management
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in IT or business required.
- Knowledge of the Citi PM Policy and PM Standards or the equivalent, and knowledge of the interaction with industry level standards.
- PMP Certification highly recommended.
- Track record having worked as a Program or Project Manager, Lead, PMO or department head, managing teams and large, strategic cross-functional projects
- Track record of exceptional performance.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in partnering across virtual teams.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to facilitate discussions.
