A multi-billion-dollar energy utility, leading the clean energy transition in New York City and Westchester County, is currently looking for a Program Manager to to join their Clean Energy / Energy Efficiency group. The Program Manager is responsible for managing the Company’s energy efficiency programs and oversees the design, operations, administration, budget, marketing, performance analysis, reporting, process improvement, and customer and stakeholder engagement. The Program Manager is responsible for overall implementation and performance of the Multifamily program to achieve energy savings and demand reduction targets for the Company. The Program Manager may direct the program’s processes, functions, internal program team, and/or contractor(s) responsible for the implementation of the program(s). Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
– Oversee operational aspects of the Multifamily electric and gas energy efficiency program, including planning, organizing, coordinating, and managing resources needed to achieve energy savings goals.
– Oversee administrative aspects of these programs including program design, customer enrollments, budget, and timely and accurate incentive payments and reporting.
– Responsible for the overall design, incentive rate structure, planning, marketing, digital production, development, tracking, data analysis, reporting, implementation, and performance of the Multifamily program(s).
We are looking for a candidate who has a previous background managing teams / groups of people as this role will have at least two direct reports. This person must have proven interpersonal skills and the ability to drive results through collaboration with stakeholders and must also have a highly analytical mindset.
Required Skills & Experience
– 5-10+ years of experience as a Program / Project Manager
– Strong background working within the Energy Efficiency industry
– Management experience – background managing at least a group of individuals
– Either a Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of work experience or a Master’s Degree and 3 years of work experience
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
– Working experience specifically within the Multifamily space as it relates to Clean Energy
– Experience or knowledge with analyzing market trends in energy efficiency technologies to optimize existing program
– Experience working with Salesforce and Oracle
