Client Associate Project Manager 2

Job Description

Arcadis is looking for a Project Manager join our Places – Project and Program Management team. This position reports to our client site in Iowa.

This position will be responsible for supporting the project management team with the design and construction of data centers. This role requires you to be able to effectively communicate with the client, contractors and team members in order to provide quality work within the client’s scope.

Role description:

  • Assist Project Manager with management of overall project including supervision of internal staff and subcontractors
  • Observe and monitor contractor team to ensure that the project is being constructed in accordance with the approved plan and specifications and that critical project milestone will be met Assist in tracking and managing General Contractors and subcontractors
  • Coordinate daily field activities with contractors and subcontractors and report to project team
  • Assist in ensuring that project schedules and milestones are completed by the General Contractor and subcontractors
  • Develop and update project plans, schedules and budgets based on client objectives
  • Evaluating project scope, schedule, and budget to identify potential risks or issues and communicating those risks and issues to the PM team to ensure the project is not adversely impacted
  • Supervise inspection personnel and on-site construction for conformance with contract requirements
  • Generate detailed daily and weekly project reports for the client
  • Organize and direct internal staff and external subcontractors in accordance with project priorities, guidelines and contractual obligations.
  • Ensure Health and Safety Plans are followed for all field activities and all work is completed in accordance ARCADIS and client specific health and safety guidelines.

Key Attributes:

  • General understanding of project management functions and tools to support desired outcomes in terms of cost, schedule, quality, and H&S.
  • Experience analyzing data and preparing charts/graphs to support analyses
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work well within a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate with clients, regulators, and stakeholders
  • Detail oriented, dependable, and proactive
  • Must be able to report on-site in Fairburn, GA Location TBD

Qualifications :

  • 4 years of experience Reduce to entry level candidate
  • Bachelor’s degree

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP certification

The salary range for this position is $61,200 – $105,570.
