Why does the job exist?

Incumbent will supervise a unit of Client Service Agents in the CYFD Receiving Center who provide support services to clients which may include staying with children/youth in the Receiving Center, home visits, arranging appointments and transportation, entering data/notes into CYFD System, providing assistance to protective services workers and working on special client-related projects.

How does it get done?
• Employee development, growth, direction and supervision: (50%)
• Engaging with youth and monitoring Receiving Center CSA’s engagement of youth: (20%)
• Ensure Health and Safety of youth while at RC along with monitoring Receiving Center CSA’s activities/projects for the health and safety of youth: (20%)
• Review and ensure proper documentation and entering of case notes into FACTS of youth’s time at RC. (10%)

Minimum Qualification

Associate’s degree in Social Sciences or Human Services and two (2) years of experience as a social worker or community coordinator and/or social worker assistant. Substitutions Apply. See Substitution Table below.

Employment Requirements

Must maintain a valid driver’s license. Must complete a defensive driving training course and obtain a defensive driving certificate within 30 days of employment.

Working Conditions

Work is performed in a fast-paced environment with at risk youth in a 24 hour 7 days a week environment that requires extended periods of sitting, standing, walking, lifting, bending, and lifting up to 35 pounds. Some travel may be required. May be required to work nights and weekends. . .
