What will you be doing in your role?

  • You will welcome our clients by making them feel safe and respected. You will ensure that all processes are client-centered and that we see clients as individuals who deserve to be embraced, welcomed, and treated with dignity. This moves past simple courtesy and customer service into genuine excitement and pleasure at having the client in our office.
  • You will make people feel valued by using active listening skills and being present for them while interacting with them. Make them feel valued through what is said and through body language and tone of voice, treating each person as an individual that we truly care about.
  • You will inform each visitor so they know what to expect and when they will be served, including checking in frequently to give updates. This will require that you really know the programs we offer.
  • You will welcome every client with a smile and address them by name when possible.
  • You stop what you are doing to be present and listen when a client is speaking with you.
  • You actively seek ways to make clients feel special and appreciated during each interaction.
  • You stay current with all the TXOR Austin processes so that you can inform clients of what to expect.
  • You regularly check in with people with a longer wait time and inform them of their appointment status.
  • You treat each client as an individual showing our excitement to have them visit, even during busy times when multiple people are waiting to be served.
  • You are empathetic and understanding when a client expresses concern and work to place yourself in their shoes when viewing the situation.
  • You maintain a rational and objective demeanor when faced with stressful or emotional client situations.
  • You excel at “reading people” and pay close attention to others’ body language, reticence, and emotions.
  • You are patient with clients whom you may have trouble communicating with due to language barriers and work to ensure they understand what they need to know.

Are you the next Client Services Coordinator?

  • 1+ years of experience in customer service-related field.
  • Working knowledge of computers, including Excel, Word, and MS Office.
  • Strong ability to multitask without becoming stressed or complacent.
  • Empathetic Nature
  • Emotional control and conflict resolution experience preferred.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish Required.
