JOB DESCRIPTION

Role: Cloud Migration & Implementation Manager

Work as an experienced cloud project manager to work with our engineering team to plan and manage multiple migration projects with various applications and ensure the security of the cloud infrastructure.

– Level: Middle (must have 5+ year of related experience)

– Contract period: 6 months

– Work Location: Ridgefield Park, NJ (must be able to work onsite 3 day/wk currently but not permanently hybrid)

– K/E bilingual highly preferred

Qualifications
• Must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, or a related field, plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the IT consulting industry
• Must have 4 years of experience in each of the following:

o Leading architectural design, development, deployment, and technical quality of service delivery systems tooling solutions;

o Validating and evaluating system architecture to align with technical design specifications;

o Gathering business requirements;

o Utilizing ITIL, DevOps, and Agile frameworks;

o Collaborating effectively with account teams, client IT teams, and business process teams during pursuit and entire process for application implementation
• Must have 2 years of experience in Agile project management and IT quality process and policies in a validated environment
• Experience on data/DB migration
• Knowledge on cloud computing technology (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience with networking, compute infrastructure such as servers, database, firewall, load balance, etc.
• Knowledge of system monitoring, capacity planning and understand architecture principles across infrastructure platform
• Experience with administrator on variety of Linux/Windows systems
• Experience with cluster configuration (Windows, Linux)
• Experience with information security practices and procedures
• Documentation skill using MS Office products.
• Must have willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 30% of the time to meet client needs
• Bilingual: English and Korean Preferred

Responsibilities
• Assess, plan, implement and/or support infra/application migration solutions for our clients, spanning simple IT projects to large-scale, enterprise-level change programs
• Conduct application architecture assessments and define solutions for complex problems that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
• Design/customize and execute migration workflows that incorporate technical steps to migrate or build infrastructure and application components
• Come up with cost reduction strategy and calculate/compare as-is vs. to-be TCO.
• Provide project’s technical conscience, defining and driving right solution to meet technical performance, scalability, flexibility, operations, and capability needs
• Manage onshore and offshore resources, distribute responsibilities across team members, and report on status for assigned scope of work to client stakeholders
• Adhere to strategic direction set by senior management when establishing near-term goals
• Act independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments, making decisions that are implemented by the team
• Meet/interact with our clients’ application owners and infrastructure support personnel to communicate migration activities comprising implementation plans, and review sequencing and timing details of application outages and post-migration testing
• Test and implement cloud-based services to support ongoing cloud migration
• Migrate multi-tiered workloads from on-prem to Cloud
• Develop and maintain secure and reliable cloud infrastructure (backup, monitoring and secure logging)
• Provide support for security policies and procedures
• Develop and maintain technical documentation
• Troubleshoot technical issues
