Responsibilities:
Expert knowledge and application of Geometric Dimensioning and tolerancing.
(GD&T)
- Expertise and in-depth knowledge of CMM programming using PC-DMIS 2021.1 and Quindos-7
- Experience inspecting spur gears, splines, and spline rings to ensure conformance with gear and spline
- Familiarity with Brown and Sharpe PMM-C 700 with a JogBox 7 controller
complete with both straight and star probes
- Experience with probe calibration
- Ability to provide innovative CMM programs from solid CAD models
- Provide hands-on PC-DMIS and Quindos CMM program development
- Utilization of the latest software capabilities and best practices
- Provide programming support for process development on new product introduction
- Support cost reduction through improved part-processing time using efficient CMM methods and innovative mistake-proofing techniques
- Provide tooling recommendations to optimize programs and CMM capabilities
- Provide troubleshooting expertise to maximize the utilization of CMMs in production environments
Experience/Qualifications
- 3-5 years of CMM usage PC-DMIS and Quindos programming or equivalent job experience on aerospace parts, spur gears, and splines

Pay Range: $50k to $67k/ annual
