Summary
The Administrator, 3PL East Coast position will coordinate and monitor Inbound, Outbound and In-land operations related to the transportation of 3PL customers. In addition, this role will compile reports and provide support to Management with assisting customers, along with internal and external channels and partners.
Responsibilities
- Inbound, Outbound, and In-land Operations
- Develop and maintain distribution networks including customer service; direct interaction with customers
- Create and review plans and procedures, which will maximize customer satisfaction
- Track/locate containers on a daily basis; railing, in port, and on the sea on steamship lines
- Manage outbound booking information and create bookings with multiple steamship lines based upon customers needs
- Make arrangements between customers and truckers to meet the most convenient time for customers and provide tracking details
- File export declaration by using ACE (Automated Commercial Environment) system for each customer and ensure their shipments have been reported to the U.S. CBP without any issues
- Communicate with steamship line for any issues regarding outbound shipments such as Bill of Lading corrections, Releases, Service Contract, Ocean Freight, etc.
- Reporting and Management Support
- Analyze and manage the volume of inbound shipments, which includes supporting and fixing supply chain issues, distributing delivery schedules with different motor carriers, and managing daily ETA and tracing report
- Report and communicate supply chain interruptions to internal and external accounts; publish the status of orders, shipping, and delivery reports
- Prepare the supporting documents and coordinate with a related party to settle the claims and other issues
- Support and guide other team members to solve the operational issues
- Other Duties as Assigned
Compensation Range
- $56,000 – $68,000 per year

Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Experience with MS Word, MS Outlook, and MS PowerPoint
- Must be detail-oriented

Education & Experience
- Bachelors Degree Required
- Five (5) – Eight (8) Years of Experience in Freight Forwarding, Supply Chain, Logistics, Transportation and/or Carriers Required
- Six (6) – Nine (9) Years of Related Experience Preferred
