How You’ll Make an Impact
- Perform CNC control maintenance and data backups on a variety of equipment
- Provide top level CNC troubleshooting support through equipment OEM
- Design manufacturing equipment electrical systems
- Review machine documentation and author step by step Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) instructions for manufacturing equipment
- Develop detailed spare parts lists for equipment
- Lead CNC control / equipment upgrade projects
- Prepare estimates for machinery installations and moves
- Review layout drawings and other documentation with respect to maintenance and facilities feasibility
What You Bring
- 5+ years’ of manufacturing experience in a machine shop environment
- Associates Degree in an Electrical or Engineering related field preferred
- Working knowledge of CNC controls to include Fanuc, Mazak, Okuma, and others
- Experience in a machine shop environment while possessing intimate working knowledge of CNC and manual machine methods
- Specific knowledge and experience with PC maintenance and networking
- Ability to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Project management experience preferred
- Experience implementing and/or improving manufacturing processes, information, facilities, and production activities in a shop environment
- Ability to lead / interact with teams to obtain consensus in developing processes and standardizing information flow
- Must network with cross-functional process owners and power users to create buy-in for change management activities

This job may be based in New York. Siemens Energy offers a variety of health and wellness benefits including paid time off and holiday pay. The base salary range for this position if based in New York is $75,000.00-$85,000.00 and the annual incentive target is 10% of base salary. Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, skills, certifications, and other business needs. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual’s qualifications.
