What does a successful CNC Operator do at Fiserv?
As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for machining replacement parts for equipment. Responsible for machining new parts for equipment. Assist with design and manufacturing for new equipment. Independently troubleshoot, repair equipment problems and assist other teams as necessary. Build and repair of sub-assemblies. Perform preventive maintenance on equipment. Create fixtures to manufacture parts. Repair/replace components. Assist with equipment builds that include wiring, mechanical assembly, documentation, configuration, testing and installation. Perform assigned inventory control duties as directed; accurately log all parts issues. Maintain all manuals, tools and test equipment.
What you will do:
- Study and interpret drawings and setup requirements.
- Set up of CNC Lathes like Haas and Fanuc to start a production cycle.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and diagrams.
- Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and correcting maintenance issues.
- Identify required tooling, set gauges, and perform machine set-up based on job requirements.
What you will need to have:
- HS diploma/equivalent required.
- 1-2 years of CNC Machining experience
- Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer etc.) •
What would be great to have:
- Associate degree in Precision Machining
- 3-4 years of CNC Machining experience
- Experience on HAAS G-Code controls preferred.
