REPORTS TO: SR COMMERCIAL ACCOUNTS SPECIALIST

STATUS: NON-EXEMPT

PAY RANGE: $20.00 – $23.00 / Hour

*compensation varies based on geography, skills, experience, and tenure

The Commercial Accounts Clerk will be responsible for processing payments by preparing spreadsheets in excel, entering payments into Great Plains, corresponding with customers regarding their account balance, logging incoming transactions, pulling and filing invoices and payments, and process outgoing mail. The ideal candidate will be a team player who is highly organized, customer service driven with the ability to communicate effectively and maintain professional and ethical standards.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Help process checks, ACHs and credit card payments by preparing spreadsheets in Excel.
  • Correspond with and collect on customers regarding aging balances.
  • Collaborate with billing and collection partners to resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Process the outgoing mail for Commercial Accounts.
  • Assist Senior CA Specialist with other ad hoc projects as needed.

  • Work varied hours/days as business dictates.
  • Some weekend/overtime work may be required.
