Finance Manager – Commercial Aircraft Group Global Supply Chain

The Commercial Aircraft Group Global Supply Chain Finance Manager reports to the sector Finance Director. A successful candidate will be responsible for partnering closely with senior leadership to enhance governance, drive cost reduction, and mitigate risk across the Commercial Aircraft Group global supply chain. This experienced finance business partner must have a demonstrated ability to link operational to financial impacts and communicate clearly and objectively with a diverse set of stakeholders to drive impact and influence outcomes.

Responsibilities:
• Partner closely with supply chain and sector leadership to standardize governance, identify drivers, and establish performance metrics across the Commercial Aircraft Group supply chain to optimize supply chain cost, mitigate financial risk, and drive gross margin expansion.
• Actively advocate for continuous improvement, efficiency, and means for supply chain to increase value to internal/external customers.
• Lead planning, forecasting, and reporting of supply chain costs and drive accountability across cross-functional teams to meet commitments.
• Support supply chain strategic initiatives, business pursuits, make-buy decision making, and go-forward supply chain strategy.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. MBA/CPA is a plus.
• Minimum 8+ years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, operations management, or supply chain. Similar industry preferred but not required.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strategic mindset, ability to see the big picture opportunities and proactively address them.
• Ability to plan and manage daily tasks, meet deadlines, analyze, and recommend solutions to various levels of management.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate well with all levels of the organization and experience in working with external constituencies.
• Demonstrated proficiency with MS Excel.
• Ability to relocate to East Aurora, New York.

Desired Qualifications:

  • SAP experience and/or knowledge of ERP business systems.
  • Experience with Product Cost Analysis and Purchase Price Variance (PPV).
  • Manufacturing and/or aerospace industry experience.

The base pay range for this opportunity is $106,724.80 – $169,249.60 per year.

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog’s total compensation package for employees.
