The Commercial Analyst is responsible to assist with a wide variety of activities including the analysis of financial and operational data to influence commercial decisions.
Essential Job Functions:
The Commercial Analyst will be assigned duties, based on organizational needs and priorities.
• Analyze commercial trends to provide general management and insight of key drivers including volume, pricing and costing.
• Utilize various data sources and systems to compile and consolidate data into a format that can be easily understood by various stakeholders to drive business decisions.
• Lead the development, collection, maintenance and communication of margin analysis by product.
• Prepare and analyze various management reports on volume, pricing and costing.
• Provide advice, knowledge, and methods of continual improvement in developing and improving internal processes.
• Foster strong communication and teamwork between all partners within the company.
• Perform other tasks as needed.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Information Technology, or a closely related field.
• 5 years’ experience in a commercial analysis, financial analysis, financial/strategic planning, accounting and/or budgeting position.
• 2-3 years’ performing duties that demonstrate/require good interpersonal skills and use of technology.
• Experience in a Wholesale Food Industry experience is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
