Commissions Specialist

Overview

This position is responsible for processing all sales commission settlements due to Equipment Sales Consultants at approximately 30 Titan retail stores and includes all verification of proper margin based on each individual sales packet, calculation of commission due on each sale, approval flow from area sales managers and regional managers, and ultimate payment to each Equipment Sales Consultant.

*This position is a remote position within the Titan Machinery footprint. Eligible candidates must reside in CO, IA, ID, MN, ND, NE, SD, WI or WY.

  • Process commission payments based on Titan Equipment Sales Consultant payment matrix
  • Process commission supplements for adjustments made to actual product margin after initial commission payment to Equipment Sales Consultant
  • Work with payroll to execute payment to Equipment Sales Consultants
  • Work with Region Managers to implement periodic incentive plans
  • Compile amounts due by reporting period for reporting into General Ledger at store level
  • Update reporting package for monthly reports to Region and General Managers, Area Sales Managers, and Senior Management
  • Follow up with Equipment Sales Consultants on any questions on payments, adjustments, or policies
  • Stay current on Commission “washouts” for items that no longer qualify
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required:

  • Associates Degree in Accounting or Business or 2 years’ work related and/or related military experience
  • Ability to handle and resolve frequent interpersonal conflict
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced, stressful work environment
  • Ability to respond quickly, accurately, and professionally to demands and requests from customers and employees
  • Ability to travel up to 5% of the time and work flexible hours

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business
