Overview
The Communications and Content Manager, Social and Digital Media, will join the PepsiCo Beverages North America (PBNA) Communications team. This is a newly created role designed to elevate and sophisticate the social media and content platforms managed by the PBNA Communications team, including but not limited to People of Pepsi. The individual in this role will need to be a content creator, a content strategist and a strong connector, able to build relationships with people across the organization, from frontline employees to the CEO. This position will be a key contributor to the content strategy of internal and external platforms designed to reach employees, industry and potential external talent. This individual will also be responsible for the community management, content creation, and vendor management for social media platforms managed by the PBNA Comms team. This position will report to the Senior Director, PBNA Communications.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Internal Communications and External Communications leads to develop compelling, and engaging content strategies across owned social media platforms that meet the unique needs of different audiences.
- Responsible for implementing content strategies across PBNA Comms-led, owned social media channels; will work closely with peers on Internal and External comms teams to successfully execute.
- Serve as project manager for two social media accounts, which includes storymining, calendar management, and content approvals.
- Produce and develop social assets that includes but is not limited to photo, video and basic animation.
- Work closely with internal and external comms team members to ensure approvals.
- Serve as community manager for People of Pepsi Instagram account with a focus on driving engagement with employees across North America.
- Manage executive social media communications for at least one PBNA senior executive.
- Manage relationships with any external vendors, agencies or contractors.
- Lead monitoring, measurement and insights for PBNA comms-managed social media accounts, delivering succinct and insight-driven reports to teammates and senior executives.
- Serve as resident expert on key internal and external communications technology platforms, leverage data to ensure platform optimization.
- Support the PBNA internal and external communications team to rollout plans flawlessly and impactfully.
Compensation &Benefits:
• The expected compensation range for this position is between $98,700 – $165,150.
• Location confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary.
• Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 12% of annual salary paid out annually.
• Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Key Skills/Experience Required:
- 7-8 years experience in social media content strategy and production; prefer someone who has agency or startup experience juggling the ins and outs of the full social strategy for an individual, company or brand.
- Strong copywriting for social and strong editorial judgement.
- Experience creating paid content and paid content strategies for social.
- Adept at creating and executing social engagement strategies.
- Proven social media video production and editing skills; proficient at Adobe Premiere, Canva.
- Hands-on experience developing communications written content.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office platforms (i.e. Yammer, Teams), and experience learning and using new CMS and web-based tools.
