Amazon is growing its network of DSPs who own and operate successful logistics businesses and build a team of Delivery Associates (DAs) who are obsessed with the customer experience.
We are looking for a Communications Manager, DSP Expansion, who will be responsible for building and supporting best-in-class communications and content that result in high levels of engagement with these DSPs and DAs. Our specialty programs create an exciting space for content creators as Amazon expands its ability to fulfill a full suite of logistics services (e.g. deliveries, pickups, and returns), reach more customers (e.g. reaching rural areas), and diversify the package portfolio (e.g. small parcels to heavy bulky products that require assembly).
The ideal candidate must be a communicator with business acumen and writing ability. Exercising judgment in narrow timeframes, particularly by injecting logic and care into strategic communications targeted at DSPs, is critical.
You will insist on high standards regarding DSP-facing communications and content. You will Earn Trust with multiple cross-functional partners, including program managers, product managers, and business leaders. You will bring in fresh ideas to simplify and scale our communications processes. You will have a passion for storytelling, as there are so many wonderful stories to be found in this innovative space. Our environment is fast-paced and requires a candidate who has a high Bias for Action and thrives in ambiguity.
This role is a unique hybrid of B2B Comms and Internal Comms.
Key job responsibilities
• Create high-quality, engaging change communications with clear calls to action and resources
• Support a multi-channel content strategy, including written communications, executive messaging, infographics, newsletters, and video
• Interview DSPs and DAs and build advocacy stories to promote the program as entrepreneurial opportunity of choice
• Create and maintain content library, including toolkits, templates, and messaging
• Monitor and measure the effectiveness of communications
A day in the life
We write a lot and “are right a lot”! We respond to business needs and develop messaging for change announcements. We also interview DSPs and DAs to build compelling spotlight and advocacy stories. We own multiple channels by which we communicate to our DSP Owners, including the Communication Center, Email, and SMS. We communicate to DAs through the DA In-App Newsfeed, built within their Amazon Delivery App. We partner effectively with other content creator teams including Public Relations, Operations Internal Communications (OIC), and Amazon Global Communities (AGC) to Insist on the Highest Standards.

The DSP & DA Communications and Engagement team is made up of 15+ high performing leaders. Even though we are based in different cities across the U.S., Canada, and Europe, we have a highly inclusive and collaborative culture. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
– Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
– Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
– Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
– Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– Experience using customer research, hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, generate forecasts, and assess the efficacy of marketing programs
– Experience utilizing systems and tools involving email, web, analytics, and CRM (Marketo, Tableau, Salesforce, etc.) for targeting, segmentation, reporting for demand generation

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $64,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $155,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
