Through our highly rodent-trained team, homes become a rodent-free fortress meaning no more rats and mice! Our team specializes in rodent control and knows how to get the job done correctly the first time! Alley Cat started in 2016 in Oakland, California. Since then, we have grown to cover Contra Costa, Marin, and Alameda counties.
Pay Rate: $25-30/hr
Objective / Purpose:
The Administrative Assistant will support our business development and process Improvement initiatives. This role will act as a project coordinator to complete various projects from initiation to completion. The Administrative Assistant will be support the CEO and management team in reviewing and making changes to current procedures, and implementing new processes utilizing enhanced products available on the market today. The goal of this role would be to allow the company to remain competitive and meet customer expectations effectively.
Responsibilities and Essential Duties
- Create and document changes to processes, procedures and the implementation of new products to use in our service offerings
- Work closely with the field team, including customer site visits, to review processes, validate success of implemented changes and provide continual training
- Document and assist in the successful implementation of business improvement strategies identified by the CEO / Management team to include: field operations, process organization, KPIs, employee performance, customer service, etc
- Assist in the develop (conduct conversations with the software team), implementation and training on new internal software to monitor employee performance and customer service
- Coordinate and assist with key process improvements and process change projects (launching new products / services)
- Make recommendations for change, involving process redesign and business development
- Ensure accurate and organized process documentation in procedures, paperwork and computer systems
- Monitor product and service quality by adhering to product use, sanitation and inspection guidelines
- Identify opportunities for ongoing coaching, development and training of team members for a productive work environment
- Review key performance indicators (KPIs) and measurable criteria to ensure desired results are obtained and maintained; provide management with project progress
- Recommend ways to align process goals with company’s key initiatives
- Identify hard and soft training needs and work with management to implement such trainings
- Research products on the market to implement in our service offerings
- Consult market research materials and sales data to ensure that products are viable and competitive
- Conduct customer site visits to review effectiveness of changes, noting any changes needed
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
- Must be able to complete tasks within tight deadlines and work in a fast paced environment
- Will be required to work directly with customers / clients
- Will be required to work in the field up to 5% travel to ensure implementation of new products is successful and quality is being maintained
- Bring other projects to fruition in support of continued development and process improvement
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
Work Experience: Skills & Qualifications – Required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
- Highly innovative with the ability to think creatively, problem-solve, and work well within a team
- Computer and Technology Savvy (as identified through the use of a variety of programs and software)
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assigned tasks to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
- Minimum of 3 years experience in quality, operations, and/or continuous improvement functions
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent – required
- Bachelor Degree in business administration, process management, project management, operations or similar – preferred
