Position Overview
The Communications and Multimedia Specialist is responsible for providing support to the division leadership and communications specialists in the development and implementation of communications and marketing materials. This includes creating and editing materials, managing social media users and brand templates, sourcing materials for and editing the corporate newsletter, and designing and producing print and digital ads. This individual will also work with the videographer to edit footage for internal and external use and in corporate employee engagement. This individual will report to the Division Marketing Coordinator.
Compensation for this position is $25-$28/hour depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities
• Aid in the development of presentations for internal and external use
• Assist in coordinating workshops, special events, golf tournaments and other company gatherings
• Assist in developing creative ideas and storyboards for video projects
• Collaborating with other teams and stakeholders to develop communications goals and a messaging strategy
• Coordinate and publish company newsletters
• Create and develop multimedia (audio/video) content for internal company events, promotional social media videos, product marketing videos, recruiting videos, and other projects as needed
• Design and develop presentations and other communication tools for use by stakeholders
• Document employees, events and locations through photos and videos focused on safety, recruiting, branding and marketing
• Editing video for a variety of uses utilizing Adobe After Effects and Premier Pro
• Generate written communications, announcements, articles, flyers, etc. for stakeholders
• Monitor overall social media presence and goals
• Report on progress and contribute to strategic initiatives
• Support communications administrative tasks
• Work with a variety of software programs, including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects
• Work with communications leaders to obtain coverage of company projects
• Write copy for various external and internal communications

Educational Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, marketing, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in multimedia design and video editing
Knowledge/Skill Requirements
• Experience in creating and managing communications campaigns
• Experience in developing and implementing marketing campaigns
• Experience in social media management
• Experience in video editing
• Experience in writing and editing marketing copy
• Strong understanding of marketing and communications principles
