As a Starbucks communications specialist focusing on content development, you will be responsible for creating engaging partner-first content (stories, photos, and videos) for partner channels that delivers business and campaign priorities in the most compelling way for partners.

You’ll execute a content strategy, creating best-in-class content tailored to specific audiences and channels. You’ll be successful in this role by staying ahead of digital content trends, remaining dialed-in to the partner experience, ensuring partners have the information they need and want, optimizing content based on performance data and insights.

This is an opportunity to be an integral part of a cross-functional team that is innovating in our approach to digital communications to help partners feel more informed, inspired, engaged at Starbucks. Ideal candidates will have a demonstrated history of executing a content strategy by creating engaging content tailored to audiences and channels, understanding basic content performance metrics and how data informs content development, and strong collaboration, communication, and time-management skills.

Leveraging Your Previous Experience, We Will Enable You To
• Maintain a partner-first approach to content creation across channels that meet partner needs and align with partner interest
• Brainstorm content that aligns with content strategies for increased impact and effectivene
• Support and contribute to the development and management of editorial calendar
• Concept and develop content across internal partner digital channels that are engaging and valuable to partner
• Write compelling content that is engaging and informative for our partner audience
• Use data and insights to iterate and improve content development
• Partner closely with partner communications, customer service, marketing, public affairs and program owners on campaign needs to create content that delivers desired result

We’d Love To Hear From People With
• 2+ years of experience in communications and content creation for digital channels
• Passion for writing and developing content with the ability to adapt to different styles for various digital channels
• Well established knowledge of building engagement and inspiring target audiences
• Strong organization and project management skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication, time and self-management skills
• Demonstrated ability to build engagement and inspire audiences
• Understanding of the retail landscape
• Energized by working in a fast-paced environment
• Self-driven and ambitious tech-savvy professional
• BS degree in Communications, Marketing, or relevant field (preferred)
