As a Starbucks communications specialist focusing on content publication, you will be responsible for designing partner-first content, creating engaging layouts, publishing content for the Weekly Update and Store News and Resources, and anticipating and responding to partner posts and questions.

You’ll build a consistent approach to gathering, designing, and publishing content to build partner awareness and engagement around our programs and initiatives. This includes staying ahead of social trends, remaining dialed-in to the current partner experience, and surprising and delighting our partners as you ensure they have the information they need and want.

This is an opportunity to be an integral part of a cross-functional team that is modernizing and simplifying communications so partners feel more informed, inspired, engaged and successful at Starbucks. This requires not only strong communication and time-management skills but a passion for partners, understanding which content will increase engagement, inspire and inform.

Ideal candidates will have demonstrated examples of engaging with partners, designing dynamic digital content, proven time-management and organization skills, experience collaborating with a diverse group of partners, and the ability to anticipate concerns and problem solve to create solutions that build confidence and trust.

Leveraging Your Previous Experience, We Will Enable You To:

  • Maintain a partner-first approach and consistent voice that builds awareness of programs and initiatives
  • Partner closely with partners across the business to track, design, review and publish content
  • Write compelling, social-style engagement copy that builds awareness and drives engagement
  • Publish content across the internal digital channels, ensuring it is accessible (i.e. – captions, alternative text)
  • Provide insights on trending topics, audience needs, and interests of target partner audience channels, adjusting content and messaging accordingly

  • Strong organization and project management skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication, time and self-management skills
  • 2+ years of design and social media experience
  • Demonstrated ability to build engagement and inspire audiences
  • Understanding of the retail landscape
  • Energized by working in a fast-paced environment
  • Consistent and strong collaborator across teams
  • Passion for social forward communication with the ability to inspire and inform
  • Self-driven and ambitious tech-savvy professional
  • AS degree in Communications, Marketing or relevant experience
