The Tulsa Drillers are the Double A Affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers and play at ONEOK Field in the historic Greenwood District. In 2023, the Drillers drew 300,000+ fans for the 13th straight season. The Drillers were named the Texas League Organization of the year in 2013, 2014, 2017 & 2020 while also being named the Bob Freitas Double A Organization of the Year in 2013 & 2019.
The Tulsa Drillers are seeking someone who will be able to assist and develop the Community Relations department by creating new business as well as improving the connections between the Drillers and those in the Tulsa Area. This person will be working with many organizations that effect the outlook of baseball in the future like youth sport organizations and non-profits.
This position is a full-time, seasonal position for the 2024 baseball season
Job Duties to include, but not limited to:
- Participate in:
- SALES including all Ticket & Hospitality Offerings
- Game Operations
- Assisting in the management of the Hornsby’s Hangout Inflatable Kids Zone
- Promotions
- Community Relations
- Ticket & Schedule Delivery
- Special Projects
- Representing the Tulsa Drillers in Community Service Organizations
- Assist the Community Relations department in:
- Community Spotlight
- Youth Programs
- Fundraising Auctions
- Community Outreach Programs
- Hometown Heroes
- Non-Game Events
- Other duties as assigned
The Tulsa Drillers will provide: Sales and customer service training, professional development and the ability to grow within the organization. In addition the position also comes with comp days during the season, vacation days, sick days, team-provided logo apparel, meals on game days, work station with computer and phone, staff parking in gated lot, gas reimbursement stipend and opportunities to earn other cash and prize bonuses.
Compensation:
- $1,500 per month plus commission on sales.
- Stipend for housing along with providing housing (fully furnished housing)
Time Frame: January 2024 – End of the Regular Baseball Season 2024 (Approximately September 15th)
Hours:
8:30 am – 5:00 pm Monday – Friday on non-game days
8:30 am – approximately 10:00 pm pm game days.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (business or marketing concentration preferred)
- Reliable Transportation
