This is a hybrid position with in-office flexibility 2-3 days a week.
Summary: The Compensation Analyst will provide analytical support in the development, implementation and administration of a full range of compensation and headcount initiatives. This position will assist in the management of various compensation activities such as year-end process management, compensation benchmarking, compensation structure development, market surveys participation and other ad-hoc compensation and headcount projects.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the management of the annual compensation planning process
- Support the process of market benchmarking and market analysis for business/support functions to determine competitiveness both internally and externally
- Work closely with HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition Teams to benchmark new positions and develop competitive compensation recommendations
- Assist in the development of total compensation ranges for roles by location
- Participate in various compensation surveys
- Support compensation due diligence for mergers and acquisitions
- Leverage the full functionality of Compensation Management tools to market price a job, survey participation, report creation and data analytics dashboard development
- Analyze compensation and headcount data, identify relevant market data and trends, and prepare reports to present findings and recommendations
- Partner closely with HRIS Operations team to ensure data integrity
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3 to 5 years of related experience
- Must possess strong analytical skills, using both qualitative and quantitative data and comfortable analyzing large amounts of data. Must be proficient in advanced Microsoft Excel functions including formula-based functions such as conditional if statements, vlookups, data manipulation and pivot table
- Attention to details and data accuracy
- Strong ability to organize
- Requires knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Office. Power BI a plus
- Ability to communication (verbal/written) in a direct, concise and effective manner
- Hybrid position based in NYC

The base salary range for this position $70,000-90,000. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
