Compliance Administrative Coordinator

Job Description:USA Water Polo is seeking a dedicated and skilled administrative professional to join our compliance team. This role will primarily focus on handling compliance matters and document updates. This employee will assist with follow through of compliance processes such as those implemented by the Center for SafeSport and the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee. The candidate will assist with contract revisions and internal document updates. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and possess excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance through implementation of processes with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies for all business operations and activities, including compliance with the Human Resources, Center for SafeSport and the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee.
  • Maintain and update databases, tracking key dates, renewals, and amendments.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance.
  • Provide general administrative support to the compliance and legal department, including document management and scheduling.
  • Assist in drafting documents.
  • Regularly meets internal and external deadlines.
  • Participates with compiling supporting documents for compliance audits.

Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Compliance, Paralegal Studies, Accounting or a related field would be beneficial, as would experience working as a paralegal or accountant.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent task management, organization, and team collaboration skills.
  • Strong knowledge of compliance work and spreadsheet use for compliance.
  • Familiarity with compliance systems and contract management systems.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Google Suites, Microsoft Office Suite and videoconferencing such as Zoom, Teams, Google Meets.
  • Able to travel up to 25% of the time.

Pay rate: $55,000 – $70,000, depending upon experience
