Our richness lies in the differences that make each one of us unique, our collective desire to belong, collaborate and succeed, and offering everyone an equal chance to contribute to the success of the Group.

Richemont Americas, a subsidiary of the Richemont international luxury goods group, is looking for a legal intern to join our legal team in New York for a one year placement. Richemont owns some of the world’s leading luxury goods Maisons, with particular strengths in jewelry, fine watches and premium accessories. Each Maison represents a proud tradition of style, quality and craftsmanship, and Richemont seeks to preserve the heritage and identity of each of its Maisons. At the same time, we are committed to innovation and designing new products which are in keeping with our Maisons’ values, through a process of continuous creativity.

The Position and You

As the Legal Intern, you will provide support to the Richemont Americas legal team, primarily in the areas of contract drafting and review, customer dispute management and retail and legal operations management. This is a fast-paced job for a dynamic, proactive individual who can juggle multiple projects, prioritize and re-prioritize in a fluid environment, and who demonstrates excellent judgment in knowing when to be flexible and when to draw a hard line or escalate an issue. At the same time, you should share our team’s commitment to treating everyone in the Richemont family with kindness and respect. To thrive you must be curious about all facets of our business and build relationships across the company based on trust and empathy.

As a small regional legal department, our team relishes in wearing many legal hats in support of the company. While you will primarily provide day-to-day support on transactional and contract legal matters, you should be comfortable providing general support and recommendations on legal matters beyond contract law.
