Responsibilities
The Defense Mission and Health Solutions team is seeking a Computer Systems Administrator (MFD ePACs, PKI) to support the Information Technology Services Desk and Engineering department for a Contract at U. S. Department of Health and Human Services.
Peraton is providing maintenance and operational IT support that includes engineering services for the systems, equipment, hardware, and software. The role includes advanced analysis, threat hunting, developing, and improving the quality of detection and response. Leveraging an evolving array of technologies to proactively identify and eliminate threats across HHS global footprint. This position is located onsite at OIG headquarters in Washington, DC. Telework may be possible, but at the discretion of the customer.
What you’ll do:
- Performs day-to-day activities related to the support, research, analysis, and implementation of Windows systems and infrastructure.
- Assist with networked multi-function devices (MFDs) and electronic physical access control systems (ePACS).
- Provide technical support, and troubleshooting.
- Must exihibit considerable knowledge, experience, and understanding of working in a Windows environment is required.
- Detailed experience with networks, servers & certificate authentication.
Qualifications

Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with 2-4 years, Master’s degree with 0-2 years or HS with 6-8 years
- Expertise with Windows Administration
- 4+ Years’ Experience as a Computer Systems Administrator
- Hands on experience with the fundamentals of networking, servers and troubleshooting
- Ability to provide operations and maintenance support for Microsoft Windows Servers and systems in a classified enterprise environment
- Experience with ticketing systems (i.e., ServiceNow)
- Knowledge of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)
- Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM)
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, Active Directory and Office 365
- Knowledge of electronic physical access control systems (ePACS)
- U.S. Citizenship or have been a permanent resident for more than 3 years
- Must be able to obtain a Public Trust security clearance
Qualifications Preferred:
- Advanced Windows administration experience
- Experience working with and writing PowerShell scripting

Target Salary Range
$66,000 – $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
