Within our Hypersonic Strike Portfolio, we seek a Conventional Prompt Strike (CPS) Software Sr Manager. Candidate will operate as the Deputy Software Sr Manager and support the CPS Software Sr Manager as the Software IPT Lead execution the software responsibilities on CPS. The responsibilities for the role include but are not limited to:
-Overall leadership and product owner for a combined Flight Software/NGC team
-Accountability and focus on the cost and schedule aspects of the SW IPT (CAM oversight for whole SW IPT)
-Providing direction to subordinates based on general policies and management guidance and ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget
-Coordination of subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions
-Demonstrated experience leading software programs using Agile methodologies
-Building team morale and motivating a team to perform with excellence
Basic Qualifications:
-Technical and leadership experience with missile programs
-Experience with software planning and execution throughout the requirements, development, design, build, test, and integration phases of a mid-size to large program
-Significant experience as a software technical lead, NGC technical lead, or software architect.
-Demonstrated ability to integrate cost, schedule and technical constraints
-Successful candidate must demonstrate Full Spectrum Leadership experience including a commitment to the Full Spectrum attributes of shaping the future, building effective relationships, energizing the team, delivering results, and modeling personal excellence, integrity and accountability
-Experience leading a team using AGILE methodology such as SAFe.
-Secret Clearance

-Experience leading a diverse team showcasing strong team building, relationship building, and personal acumen
-Good facilitator and able to lead resolution of issues
-Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate complex design information, technical decisions and issues to both highly technical and non-technical reviewers.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong social skills, and ability to build consensus among peers while building solid relationships with team members, leadership, and customers
-Ability to lead multi-functional teams and lead multiple teams to communicate and coordinate work as one team with common goals
-Proven track record of good judgment and programmatic execution necessary to meet technical requirements while balancing schedules and budget obligations
-Proven experience as a conceptual thinker with the ability to translate into action and results

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9×80 every other Friday off

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in Colorado or Washington is $146,800 – $281,400. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full time employees: accrue 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO); receive 40 hours of Granted PTO annually for incidental absences; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
