Concierge Assistant

You are a key member of the Office Experience team responsible for the staff and visitor experience of the office. Serving as the first point of contact for clients and visitors to the SFO office, the Concierge Assistant is valued as the “Chief of First Impressions”. In addition, you will provide backup assistance to other members of the Office Experience Team, especially during peak times for internal meetings and events, and perform general office tasks as necessary.

Core Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Add all visitors to BCG’s and the building’s visitor management systems
  • Manage office and conference rooms reservations for BCG staff and visitors
  • Greet visitors in a professional and courteous manner
  • Provide a range of assistance to visitors, including, assigning temporary building access badges, food and transportation requests, print and copy requests, administrative and logistics support, etc.
  • Provide support to meetings and events, onsite and offsite
  • Communicate effectively and professionally via phone, email, and in-person, with all levels of BCG staff, clients, vendors, and guests
  • Assist Operations management team with other project work related to supporting the enhanced in-office experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of administrative support or customer service experience, in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient computer skills: Using the Microsoft Office Suite with advanced computer skills willingness to learn new systems is relevant to the needs of the operation.
  • Hospitality experience preferred. If no direct experience, an importance towards and demonstration of anticipating needs and providing efficient and flawless service.
  • Ability to lift/move objects up to 35 pounds.
  • Flexibility to work overtime as necessary.

COMPENSATION INFORMATION:

Total compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, contributions to BCG’s Profit Sharing and Retirement Fund (PSRF), and a market leading benefits package described below.

We expect total annualized compensation for San Francisco-based employees to be approximately the following:

  • Base salary between $57,000- $69,000 (USD); placement within this range will vary based on experience and skill level
  • Annual discretionary performance bonus between 0-12%
  • 5% Profit Sharing Retirement Fund (PSRF) contribution, increasing to 10% after two years of service. Contributions are vested immediately and there is no waiting period
  • First year annualized target total compensation: $63,441 – $76,797 (USD)
