The Configuration Associate I is responsible for the production of high-quality products per procedures/specifications within the standard labor hours. The incumbent will be responsible for set up and perform assigned assembly operations within specific target product family while meeting quality standards. The incumbent will provide back-up support for other functions within this job description as personnel requirements dictate.

You MUST live in US and not require relocation.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for meeting Quality goals and on time delivery associated with respective jobs
  • The ability and understanding to perform process operations from procedural documentation and training within standard labor hours
  • Perform visual inspection of Configuration product for physical damage and missing parts
  • Ability to test Configuration product using a PC based test system
  • Record inspection results via PC-based Configuration order tracking system
  • Prep and clean Configuration product prior to shipment in accordance to established standards
  • Associate needs to be punctual. Can be depended on to handle his /her normal work functions
  • Follow company policies and procedures
  • Maintain ISO 9001 readiness
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High School or equivalent
  • Basic Computer Skills
  • Language Skills: English skills, reading, writing, and the ability to follow verbal instruction
  • Able to routinely lift up to 35 pounds
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorship

Preferred:

  • Effective communication skills.
  • Basic computer literacy, with knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Proficient understanding of the use of a desktop.
  • Basic math skills, can read a ruler.
  • Fundamental reading and writing skills required.
  • Personal Protective Equipment Required (safety glasses, steel-toed boots, gloves, etc.)
  • Operating machinery and/or power tools. (Occasionally)

Salary: USD 17.50 Hourly

Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.
Additionally, all Zebra roles are eligible for cash incentive programs. For example, sales roles have additional opportunity to earn substantial variable compensation tied to quota achievement. In most other roles, the Zebra annual cash incentive program links Company and individual performance together. Some roles may also be eligible for long-term incentive equity awards.
