Position Overview:

Introduction: Boeing Defense & Space (BDS) is currently looking for a Configuration & Data Management Specialist to join the Product Life Cycle Management team located in El-Segundo, California. The ideal candidate will have a good knowledge and experience in program Data Management tasks and program deliverable requirement processes, CDRLs, and sub-contractor deliveries. In addition this position requires experience in Configuration Management, including planning, identification, Change Control, Status Accounting, and Audits.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Defines, documents and interprets product requirements relevant to certification, configuration, data and data management and engineering processes.
  • Develops, documents and implements plans and processes to ensure products meet technical, data, regulatory and company requirements and to maintain configuration control.
  • Tracks and reports data to monitor adherence to regulatory, data configuration and contractual requirements; supports audits and reviews to ensure products meet requirements.
  • Assists with development certification plans, integrated process architecture infrastructures, process models, product structure definitions and/or data requirements/data management processes.
  • Works general direction.

This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) Security Clearance (US Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in Configuration & Data Management.
  • Active Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experienced Configuration & Data Management practitioner who has worked 5+ years in the industry.
  • Knowledge of PDM tools like PIMS and Teamcenter Enterprise
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, communication, and attention to detail skills.

Typical Education/Experience:

Experienced (Level 3): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+1 years’ related work experience, 5 years’ related work experience, etc.).

Senior (Level 4): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+4 years’ related work experience, 8 years’ related work experience, etc.).

Lead (Level 5): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 9 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+7 years’ related work experience, 11 years’ related work experience, etc.).

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Summary pay range for experienced level: $85,000 – $115,000

Summary pay range for senior level: $107,950 – $146,050

Summary pay range for lead level: $127,500 – $172,500

Export Control Requirements: U.S. Government Export Control Status: This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
