The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a Configuration Data Management/Technical Integration (Configuration Change Management). This position is located in Huntsville, AL.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Duties will include but not limited to

  • Perform technical check of complex engineering data to verify that engineering, partner, and/or supplier product definition data (e.g., bill of material, geometry, digital models) meets procedural and system requirements.
  • Define, document and interpret product requirements relevant to certification, configuration, data and data management and engineering processes.
  • Develop, document and implement plans and processes to ensure products meet technical, data, regulatory and company requirements and maintain configuration control.
  • Communicates requirements to coworkers/customers regarding procedures, processes, and tools that support the preparation, release, and interpretation of product definition data.
  • Track, reconcile discrepancies and report data to monitor adherence to regulatory, data configuration and contractual requirements.
  • Support audits and reviews to ensure products meet requirements.
  • Assist with development certification plans, integrated process architecture infrastructures, process models, product structure definitions and/or data requirements/data management processes.

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Experience in (change management)
  • 5+ years’ experience in quality, manufacturing or engineering management
  • 5+ years’ experience in Configuration Management/Data Management
  • 3+ years’ experience in Project Management

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Change Management experience
  • NDIA certification or equivalent CM Certification
  • Experience Engineer Release Tools Metrics and chart generation experience
  • Engineering Drawings and Model Based Design and Model Based Instruction knowledge

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired
through advanced education (e.g. Associate)
and typically 9 or more years’ related work
experience or an equivalent combination of
education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+7
years’ related work experience, 11 years’
related work experience, etc.

$119,000 – $161,000
