As Configuration Delivery Lead for the United Healthcare Strategic Platform (USP) Configuration Team, you will help manage and optimize the flow of value through Configuration improving department delivery which supports enterprise platform growth.
In this role, you will represent Configuration in implementing USP program initiatives and coordinate configuration delivery. You will collaborate across the department and across USP. You will also be responsible for project management activities, supporting implementation teams as they define, manage, and deliver system configuration. You’ll partner with the Business Delivery Leads (BDL’s), Release Delivery Leads (RDL’s) and IT Delivery Leads to confirm high level market dates, milestones, and go-live dates.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Plans, and manages configuration delivery for USP initiatives and strategies with Configuration Leads
- Partners with BDL’s and RDL’s to provide visibility and consensus on Configuration Deliverables
- In collaboration with the Configuration Leads, manage capability delivery to support and track critical path.
- Partner with other CDL’s/BDL’s and RDL’s where the deployments span multiple initiatives with tight dependencies raising to Configuration leadership and leads, the risks and opportunities to be managed.
- Create and communicate weekly initiative status Configuration leadership to ensure that all required Configuration capabilities and features and their progress, result in configuration meeting or exceeding program expectations.
- Assist in driving on time delivery of Configuration implementation team(s) by influencing timely critical path establishment by IT Release Delivery Leads
- Provide subject matter expertise in areas including project scope definition, risk identification, capacity planning, reporting, and facilitation while ensuring projects are completed on time and in scope.
- Establishes, develops, and maintains effective relationships with applicable stakeholders (e.g., project team members, team leads, internal customers, functional SMEs, business partners, leadership)
- Applies healthcare industry business knowledge while coordinating activities across a highly matrixed team of professionals involved in a common purpose to serve our customers.

Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in matrixed environment
- 3+ years of experience managing project plans and roadmaps
- Demonstrated ability to understand and interpret complex information from others coupled with attention to detail
- Proven verbal and written communication skills focusing on conveying complex or technical information in a manner that others can understand
- Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely
- Demonstrated ability to work in a highly collaborate environment, and maintain ability to independently produce the output to support Configuration delivery
- Success building collaborative business and engineering partner relationships
- Negotiation skills: the ability to influence and gain acceptance from others to achieve a mutually beneficial outcome
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- PMP
- Scaled Agile Certification or LeSS Certification
- Familiarity / working experience with tools (Aha, CA Agile (Rally), Jira, Clarity) used to manage/monitor Agile like features and user stories
- Operational experience within multiple lines of business (E&I, M&R, C&S and/or Provider)
- Experience in system configuration for a healthcare administration platform
