Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Systems Engineering Integration & Test (SEIT) organization seeks a Configuration Management Engineer (Entry Level or Associate) for The Weapons team in St. Charles, Missouri to perform configuration change control and facilitate program baseline management.

Position Responsibilities:
- Review prime contract and supplier contract change management requirements.
- Interpret configuration management plans.
- Apply methodology for product and document identification.
- Prepare change control documents such as Engineering Change Proposals (ECP), Requests for Variance (RFV), Change Documents/Change Requests (CD/CRs), Conduct program Change Control Boards (CCB), perform configuration audits, coordinate product configuration definition documentation, and others.
- Collaborate with fellow configuration management engineers on configuration management principles and job practices, and support of industry quality audits for Configuration Management. Provide basic configuration management guidance to program team members.
- Collaborate with customers.
- Engage in program planning.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 1+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience using Excel to perform data analysis
- Experience editing PDF and Word files
Typical Education & Experience:
Entry Level :
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Associate Level:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Summary Pay Range for Entry Level: $63,750 – $86,250.
Summary Pay Range for Associate Level: $73,950 – $100,050.
