Role description:
Arcadis is seeking a talented and innovative Constructability Review Specialist to join our dynamic team. As part of a multidisciplinary team, the specialist focuses on ensuring that designs are constructible, efficient, and align with the project’s goals. They provide valuable expertise to enhance project feasibility and mitigate potential construction challenges.
Role accountabilities:
As a constructability specialist, your role includes supporting the Design Manager and Owner Authorized Representative during the preconstruction phase. This involves assisting in defining and reviewing the Project Requirement Document’s scope of work and schedule, including interim housing requirements. Additionally, you provide valuable value engineering recommendations at the beginning of the design process. You also analyze the design professional’s deliverables, identifying inconsistencies, ambiguities, conflicts, errors, and omissions in the progress plans to minimize RFIs and Change Orders. Your responsibility extends to ensuring proper coordination of documents among various design disciplines. Furthermore, you conduct a thorough constructability review of pre-bid construction documents.
Qualifications & Experience:
15 years full time professional paid experience with an Architecture degree and the following:
- 10 of those years must be acting as a Construction Administrator
- 5 years remaining must be acting as a Designer.
- Construction Administrator experience shall be on a public/educational facility construction project with full responsibility for supporting those projects.
- Projects shall have a construction value of $8M or more for a single project or with a combined cumulative project value of $80M.
Minimum of two (2) years college level coursework from a recognized college, university or trade school and five (5) years additional experience may be substituted for the educational requirement.

Arcadis offers benefits for full time and part time positions. We offer seven paid holidays and potentially up to two floating holidays per calendar year depending on start date, and 20 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $112,240 – $168,360.
