Job Summary
Focus on the day-to-day assigned customers to leverage relationships in the PSEG LI territory in order to create third party advocates for PSEG LI in the regulatory and political areas
Job Responsibilities
This position will provide account management services such as general problem resolution, Electric Service related issues, Coordinate New and Upgraded service requests, billing resolution, oversight and delivery of PSEG LI energy efficiency programs. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Responsible for 24/7 Single Point of Contact for assigned customers/segment, with a focus on establishing strategic relationships as the customers advocate & Provide the highest level of customer service for PSEG Long Island/LIPA’s largest customers.
• For assigned accounts, advocate the “voice of the customer” and mobilize PSEG LI’s functions – Customer, Operations, and Media Relations – to provide timely and appropriate response to identified customer needs
• Develop and execute account plans, in line with PSEG LI’s standard and work practices to increase the satisfaction of existing customers in order to maximize revenue for PSEG LI.
• Comprehensive understanding of LIPA rates & tariff.
• Provide technical guidance, support and coaching to customers to establish PSEG LI as a leader in energy technology, and to share knowledge and develop technical understanding for future utility technologies, e.g. renewables, electric vehicles, etc.
• Prepare various reports and analyses for internal and PSEG LI use in order to support the Large Customer Support Manager.
• Play support role to the Large Customer Support Manager by interfacing with the Customer, Operations, and Media Relations functions to enable PSEG LI to demonstrate superior customer service during storms and emergency response communications.
• Accountability for transmitting communications in order to manage customer expectations and demonstrate superior customer service.
Job Specific Qualifications
Required
• Bachelor’s degree and 7 years of relevant business experience, preferably customer and/or electric operations; in lieu of a degree, 12 years of customer and/or electric operations experience
• Demonstrated proficiency in PowerPoint
• Demonstrated ability to multi task and adapt to changes during a normal day as well as during storms
• Demonstrated ability to make presentations to executives to demonstrate utility knowledge and built upon customer needs
• Demonstrated ability to drive, communicate and inspire change at any level of the organization
• Must have and maintain a valid U.S. Driver’s License and a safe driving record
• Must foster an inclusive work environment and respect all aspects of diversity. Must also demonstrate and value differences in others’ strengths, perspectives, approaches, and personal choices
• Must demonstrate exceptional communications and interpersonal skills developed through interaction with executives, facility managers and public officials
• Demonstrated project planning skills and relationship building
Desired

• Knowledge and understanding of Electric Service, Distribution and Transmission systems
• Comprehensive understanding of Rates & Tariffs
• Experience with Tableau or other dashboard development
