Position Overview:
The Construction Field Supervisor is responsible for managing the project schedule and subcontractors for ICAST’s work in Connecticut. The Field Supervisor will provide direction and support to subcontractors as well as working collaboratively with other departments within ICAST to ensure successful completion of projects while maintaining program compliance. The Field Supervisor will be responsible for providing daily and weekly updates, both verbal and written to Construction Management leadership highlighting progress and ensuring that management is alerted of potential or realized issues.
Requirements
Must Have Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Site Supervisor, Foreman, or equivalent position
- Basic understanding of healthy home issues such as mold, asbestos, knob and tube
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficient with M365 (MS Office, Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience with ERP and project management software
- Proven experience managing home rehab projects
- Proven experience managing sub-contractors
- Strong communications skills and attention to detail
- Analytical problem solving-skills
- OSHA 30 certification or other related construction certification
Location: Connecticut, U.S.A.
Reports to: Construction Project Manager
Skill Level: Intermediate
Areas of Expertise: RFQ’s, SoW’s, Change Orders, Project Management
Compensation: $70,000 DOE
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day to day oversite of assigned project(s) budget, schedule and subcontractor assignments
- Provide on-site support to subcontractors
- Maintain records of daily installs in Project Management System
- Work with Construction Admin staff to develop and complete punch lists
- Interface with other ICAST departments as needed to support project development & project close outs
- Communicate project timelines and updates to Property Management/Ownership
- Attending and reporting on projects in weekly construction department meetings
- Leading Project Kick-Off meetings w/ Customers
