Role description:

Arcadis is currently seeking amazing Construction Management Co-op to join our team in our Atlanta office.

As part of our Program and Project Management team, you’ll help deliver some of the biggest, most iconic projects imaginable, with some of the best talent around. With your energy, agility, and a keen eye for detail, you’ll deliver transformational outcomes for multiple clients every day.

Sitting with our Mobility Business Line, we partner with our clients across the globe to design thriving and connected cities and communities that enable opportunity for all and keep the world moving. Climate change, urbanization and digitization trends are requiring today’s mobility projects and systems to address an evolving set of demands from the world’s growing population. We design connected, sustainable solutions that integrate existing infrastructure with new technologies, and optimize the mobility of people and goods. our exciting projects are infrastructure based and include traditional bid projects as well as Design-Build and other alternative contracting mechanisms.

Role accountabilities:

As a Construction Management Co-op, your accountabilities will include:

Using your education and experience within the discipline to assist with research and problem solving on a variety of challenging projects. Some of these tasks may include Maintaining and potentially building project schedule(s), and database entry, tracking, and reporting. Building detailed engineering cost reports, change notices, and other cost control tools will also be an integral part of this role.

Assisting with reviewing construction claims, procurement activities and contract management, financials, grant applications and management, providing observation of construction activities and document activities on required reports/forms.

You will also be expected to travel as you will be heavily involved in meetings at construction site or client facilities and inspecting roadway and structures for conformance to plans and specifications.

Qualifications & Experience:

Requirements:

  • Pursuing a Degree (Bachelors or Masters) in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or other related field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams.
  • Ability to work on multiple, unique assignments simultaneously. Construction project and program level scheduling

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Primavera P6
  • Ability to interpret plans and specifications
  • Hands-on experience in construction with infrastructure projects.o
  • Knowledge of finance or grants
  • Knowledge of contracts and procurement
  • Currently holds or ability to obtain professional certification such as Planning and Scheduling Professional (PSP), or PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP), or EIT

The salary range for this position is $15.00 – $24.00 p / h.
