Digifabshop is looking for a Construction/Millwork Project Manager for our affiliate company, CWK Associates, based in Longmont, CO.
This position is part of the Project Management team and reports to the Director of Project Management.
Salary: $90k – $140k
This is a salary/exempt position. Individual compensation is based on various factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
Project managers are responsible for shepherding projects through their life cycle with a focus on the financial success of each project they manage. The PM’s role is to be the outward facing presence of the company while interacting with and managing the client (General Contractor), architect and installers while supporting the internal teams via clear and timely communication that clarifies scope, schedule and responsibility.
Priority PM Responsibilities
Executive Administration: The PM is the owner and driver of all project-related administration, scheduling, and reporting. PMs watch the projects financial status and report it monthly to finance and management.
- Understand and manage client contract as executed by preconstruction team.
- Direct, understand, and manage vendor contracts.
- Create, control, and communicate project schedules internally and externally.
- Manage material ordering schedule and deadlines.
- Manage submittal drawing schedule and deadlines.
- Manage floor release schedule and deadlines.
- Track and forecast project material and labor budget vs actual.
- Track and report billing schedule internally, communicate SOV to GC.
- Track and report underbill/overbill status/cashflow forecast.
- Quickly create and submit change orders for all scope changes that will incur costs before costs are incurred.
Install and Sitework: PMs own the installation. They are the voice and advocate for the field to the rest of the company. They outline and drive the schedule of material to the jobsite and direct the design for install. They are the primary point of contact to install subcontractors at all times.
- Create and control install phasing plan.
- Drive project schedule to meet install phasing plan.
- Direct Engineering to consider the products installability as a priority. Consider install sequence and method of every design with the objective of keeping installs on budget and delivering an excellent finished product to the client.
- Select installer in cooperation with Precon.
- Take primary responsibility in buying out install.
