Construction Project Coordinator – San Francisco

POSITION SUMMARY

We have an exciting opportunity for a Construction Project Coordinator to work on world-class multi-year projects with a best-in-class team in San Francisco. This is primarily an onsite position for the Project Coordinator, which fluctuates between both an office and job site environment. The PC will work closely with the Project Executives, Project Managers, Project Engineers, as well as Superintendents, and General Foreman in the process of performing his/her duties, and will report to the division Controller but will work closely with the project Executive for day-to-day direction. The Project Coordinator is responsible for providing support to a project team. This may include, data entry, reporting, and updating project or construction schedules, general office, and administration duties to support both job sites and main office logistics and supplies. Job location onsite/in-office; not a full-time remote job, but has some hybrid opportunity while training.

What you’ll do:

  • COINS (ERP system) data entry and reporting – change orders, subcontract agreements, subcontract change orders, labor feedback and job cost reports.
  • Assists Project Managers with entering and updating construction schedules in MS Project and Bluebeam
  • Assembles and tracks subcontracts, change orders, insurance, billings, lien releases, and certified payroll from subcontractors.
  • Issues and tracks purchase orders, and material arrival dates and receive material in a web-based purchasing database.
  • Collects and reviews timecards for union personnel and maintains manpower lists. Assembles binders with submittals, proposals, O&Ms.
  • Assists Project Managers in tracking and creating daily field reports.
  • Gathers and submit to customer specific contractual requirements (i.e. city license, contractor’s license, certificate of insurance, emergency phone list and gather from other departments – safety program, drug awareness program, MSDS sheets for Jobsite)
  • Analyzes open commitments at closeout and follows up with sub/vendor to ensure no further costs are owed before the closing project.
  • Various other tasks as required by the project team.

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • Associate degree (AA) preferred or minimum 2 years of related experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to set priorities and multi-task
  • Competent analytical skills
  • Proficient in Excel

Pay: Final pay is determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. For (California) this ranges from $22.00 – $36.00 plus annual incentive, benefits and retirement program as outlined above.
