The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing projects, while also working as a Carpenter on each project. The Project Manager must have a proven track record of excellent customer service.
Overall Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Customer Satisfaction
- Complete jobs on schedule and within budget
- Job-site Supervision, safety and cleanliness
- Supervision and scheduling of trades
- Material Take off and orders
- General demolition, carpentry, MEP (overall trade work where the project or scope is too small for a trade to handle).
- Daily, Weekly, Monthly Responsibilities:
- Trade and Material Scheduling
- Job Supervision
- Quality Control and Job Safety
- Client Communication (formal and Informal)
- Equipment Management
Project Manager Requirements:
- Plan reading
- Communication Skills
- Planning Skills
- Site construction skills
- High degree of construction / remodeling knowledge from footings to completion.
- Basic code knowledge
- Ability to direct, lead and manage others
Project Manager Pay:
- $75,000-$85,000 annual base
