Construction Project Manager – Buffalo, NY

We’re seeking an experienced and collaborative Construction Project Manager who thrives when people are in sync and projects are running not just on time but within budget. Based at our client’s site in Buffalo, NY, you will work alongside other project team members focusing on project in the conception to close out phase. You’ll manage various projects using established controls/procedures and provide job site leadership in all areas of scheduling, safety, quality, coordination with the designers and any critical issues pertinent to the project or the client’s facility and have a full working knowledge of the change order and cost review process and the review/approval of contractor’s payment application.

  • 8+ years experience in construction involving multiple phases of large-scale building/rehabilitation projects
  • 4+ years experience as an Assistant Project Manager
  • Strong working knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, contract management, project delivery methods, building systems/components and technology, team building, and client relationship building
  • Must be able to manage 4-5 projects using established controls/procedures and provide job site leadership in all areas of scheduling, safety, quality, coordination with the designers and any critical issues pertinent to the project
  • Work will require access to secure facilities and employment will require a background check

Ideally, You’ll Also Have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture or Construction
  • Government experience

The base salary range for this position is $135,000 to $160,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
