As one of the nation’s largest single-source providers of lighting and electrical products, electrical services, electrical construction, and energy management solutions Facility Solutions Group is expanding their staff and seeking an Construction Project Manager to join our FSG – XXXXX team.
Job Description
As a Construction Project Manager, you will skillfully plan, execute, and finalize projects according to the project management plan and achieve specific goals such as: conceptual design, Bottom-Up estimating, negotiating with both customer and supplier, vendor selection, site beta testing, profit maximization, customer reporting. We continue to grow at a rate of 20% a year and have not had a lay off this century. The successful candidate will thrive working in a great team environment that rewards good attitudes, great organizational skills and work ethics and have past lighting or electrical construction experience.
A Construction Project Manager will:
- Continually build, develop and grow vendor, subcontractor and field personnel relationships throughout entire process to assure success of the project.
- Develop project staffing plans to include labor, subcontractors, and project engineers.
- Act as liaison between local facility staff and regional team members.
- Monitor, control and report on financial performance of projects
- Set up, maintain and manage job budgets
- Communicate project goals via weekly update meetings with key personnel
- Communicate complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or any other stakeholders.
- Oversee participation in all aspects of job site safety and adherence to OSHA standards
- Manage, motivate and continuously improve team members.
- Assemble AIA invoices
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will satisfy the following requirements and qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or 3-5 years’ experience
- Experience in Construction – Lighting or Electrical preferred
- Experience in Project Coordinating
- Ability to travel (local and out of state)
- Must have Valid Driver’s License.
- Must be able to pass drug and background screen
- Proficient computer skills
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to multitask while staying organized
- Positive customer service skills
