Construction Project Manager (New York, NY)

We’re seeking an experienced and collaborative Construction Project Manager who thrives when people are in sync and projects are running not just on time but within budget. Based at our client’s site in New York, NY, you’ll be part of a unique rehabilitation and preservation construction project. You’ll manage the project by using established controls/procedures and provide job site leadership in all areas of scheduling, safety, quality, coordination with the designers and any critical issues pertinent to the project or the client’s facility and have a full working knowledge of the change order and cost review process and the review/approval of contractor’s payment application. Bring your expertise to solve complex problems and provide effective, skilled project management to help reduce the costs of delivering projects. Your ability to multi-task, communicate effectively and tackle project challenges will allow you to thrive in our fast-paced environment.

• 8+ years’ experience in construction involving multiple phases of large-scale building/rehabilitation projects with 4+ years of that experience as an Assistant Project Manager responsible for large-scale projects valued above $10 million
• Strong working knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, contract management, and project delivery methods
• Proficient with web-based submittal collaboration systems and project scheduling software
• Employment will require a background check

Ideally, You’ll Also Have:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture or Construction
• Background in historic preservation preferred
• Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification
• OSHA 30 Certification

The base salary range for this position is $87,360 to $130,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
