Role description:
Arcadis is looking for a Construction Scheduler to our Technical Advisory team. This a remote role and can be based anywhere on East Coast.
In this role, you will be responsible for the complex analysis and review of project documentation, regular use of Primavera P6 software and the generation of reports and presentations for client meetings. Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in scheduling and commercial construction work, excellent communication skills and be very knowledgeable with construction means and methods.
Arcadis is a recognized leader in evaluating and successfully resolving complex construction issues and disputes, one of our greatest strengths is resolving construction-related problems before they escalate into much larger matters. We provide dispute prevention, dispute mitigation and dispute resolution to help clients through each phase of their project.
Role accountabilities:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Review and analyze complex construction schedules and provides opinions, advice and reports as necessary on project progress as well as predictions of the work using Primavera P6
- Attend meetings and advise client of actual progress and related cost implications.
- Review and develop construction baseline schedules including resource and cost loading
- Review and analyze construction claims and provide opinions, advice and reports as necessary on contractual entitlement and quantification of damages suitable for use in dispute resolution proceedings including negotiation, mediation, arbitration and litigation.
- CPM scheduling and hands-on use of Primavera P6 software for project controls and evaluation of delays.
- Report writing & preparation of charts & graphs to support and present analyses.
- Review, analyze and/or develop Time Impact Analyses (TIA), retrospective delay analyses and provide recommendation on extension of time requests.
Qualifications & Experience:
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or other closely related field.
- 5 years of active construction management / dispute resolution and support experience.
- Proficiency with Primavera P6, Excel, Word, and Outlook, is required
Preferred Qualifications
- A strong construction background on large, complex projects is highly preferred.
- P6 certification
- AACE Planning and Scheduling Professional (PSP)

Arcadis offers benefits for full time and part time positions. We offer seven paid holidays and potentially up to two floating holidays per calendar year depending on start date, and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $70,000 -$122,000.
