The Role
The Managed Solutions Fixed Income SMA product team looking for an energetic, upbeat leader who has a passion for defining, evolving, and leading execution of the strategic product offering within the team. The role will use innovative thinking and creativity to develop new, and transform existing, offerings towards scalable digital solutions aimed at meeting the sophisticated needs of our client’s investment goals.
Your focus in this exciting and industry leading space will be to advance the work of building and supporting fixed income SMA products and personalize solutions by using your knowledge of clients and investments, along with your skills in delivering value in an agile environment. This role can be hired at Consultant or Director level, depending on skills. #CSB
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Bachelors or equivalent with 8-10+ years of experience. MBA a plus.
- Series 7 and 66 licenses preferred.
- Strong investment knowledge and/or financial services product management experience, with an understanding of the competitive landscape in the High Net Worth, Wealth Management and SMA markets.
- Fixed income knowledge/experience
- Experience in product management including marketing financial services products, product positioning, collateral creation, R&D and experimentation.
- Knowledge of investment products, particularly managed accounts and other advisory offerings and financial planning
- Driving competitive advantage through outstanding customer experience and targeted customer communications
- Strong writing, editorial and content creation skills (e.g., communications, collateral)
- Organization proficiency in multiple-project management
- Digital marketing experience a plus
- Ability to synthesize sophisticated data from multiple, disparate sources and present analysis, relevant insights, and themes in a simple, understandable way.
- Familiarity working with technology teams using agile methodology (e.g., story writing, backlog refinement, retrospectives and sprint planning.)
- A passion for innovation to continually be a leader in meeting our customers expectations and needs in the marketplace beyond traditional financial services experiences.
- Understanding of client-facing/advisor-led process.
The Team
You are a Client Solutions Business Chapter Member and embedded in the Managed Solutions Fixed Income SMA Team. Managed Solutions provides discretionary money management services on over 1 million accounts with over $590B in assets under management. The SMA product team is a multi-functional group of individuals with product management, product delivery, digital content development, investment, and field expertise.
As a FI SMA team member, you will collaborate with the team lead, fellow FI SMA teammates and other squad and business partners withing the Managed Solutions Product Area to perform research and analysis activities for future and existing products and clients, as well as complete competitive analysis and industry trends to develop new Fixed Income SMA growth initiatives that meet the growing needs of our clients. You will create targeted and timely collateral and communications on existing products and interact frequently with client-facing associates to provide daily product support to capture the voice of clients & associates, while continuously improving on our existing offerings. The role collaborates closely with client-facing leadership, Operations, Finance, Legal, Risk and Compliance, as well as various asset management teams.
